Eyebrow Shaping
The difference a properly sculpted brow can make to a face is astounding. Having THE perfect brow shape can open up the eye area, it can give a more youthful lift and they create the ideal framework for the face. I have 17 years of experience in the brow industry and I have not a met a brow I haven’t been able to fix! I take into account your face shape, your natural hair growth and your lifestyle, making sure that you get the eyebrows that will suit you. I am one of the few Brow Artists that has a freehand philosophy as I can tap into my years of knowledge and experience. I prefer to position my clients upright to do the shaping so I can then assess how your face moves when you talk. Lying down is relaxing but its not how your face naturally sits. You can be confident that your brows are designed & sculpted specifically for your face.
For a simple brow shape and tint, it is a 30 minute consultation where we shall discuss your hair growth and the desired outcome for your brows. After your consult, I assess your face shape, eyebrow growth & then create the ideal brow shape for you by tweezing the hair with precision.
Why tweezing and not waxing?
I have never waxed an eyebrow and have tweezed my whole career. I believe that tweezing the brow is a much gentler form of hair removal rather than waxing. It also allows for more precision as each hair is thoughtfully removed. All of my clients are able to sit up for their procedures which means I get to observe how your face and brows are animated when talking and means that gravity is not a concern. I find it is a much easier technique to ensure balance of the eyebrows.
What other brow services do I offer?
Brow Henna is a long lasting form of dye and is great for those that may have reactions to a regular tint. It is derived from the henna plant & is 100% vegan. It adheres to the brow hair creating definition and also stains the skin for a soft shadow effect. It is a consultation of 45 mins and includes discussion of your hair growth, desired outcome, mapping and the application of the henna dye. Results will last up to 6 weeks on the hair and 2 weeks stained on the skin. This is a great introduction to those that are considering the cosmetic tattoo but not quite ready to make the leap.
Brow Lamination is currently the most on trend brow treatment. The brow hairs are straightened using a keratin solution and are set in an upwardly curved position to create a full and fluffy finish to the brows. A 45 minute consultation includes an in depth discussion of your brows, desired results, the application of the brow keratin solution, brow setting solution, brow shaping, hybrid brow dye and application of a rich hydrating butter to condition the brows.
Lash Lifts
Lash lifts are an incredibly popular service as they create the illusion of longer and fuller lashes without the need for extensions. The use of a gentle chemical solution breaks down the protein bonds within the lash which means that it can be reshaped and lifted. A lash lift will make your eyes look fresher & more defined.
How long does a lash lift last?
Typically a lash lift will last 6-8 weeks depending on the individuals hair growth patterns. The treatment takes 45 minutes and includes a lash tint to maximise the results.
How do you look after your lash lift?
Aftercare is essential to make sure you get the best results from your lash lift. Avoid getting them wet for at least 24 hours, this includes sweat from the gym, sauna and spas. Avoid any direct heat, this can be as simple as opening your oven door! Oil based products around the eye should be avoided as this will break down the perming solution. Please refrain from using mascara in the first 48 hours & do not use an eyelash curler.
